1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to all content generated, uploaded, or processed through MathSolve's AI-powered learning platform, including flashcards, quizzes, explanations, and any other content created using our service.

2. Content Standards — Prohibited Content

MathSolve explicitly prohibits the generation, upload, or creation of the following types of content:

Zero Tolerance — Immediate Action

The following violations result in immediate account termination and may be reported to authorities:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any content depicting, describing, or involving minors in sexual situations. Uploading photos of minors or generating content involving children in any sexual context is strictly prohibited.
  • Terrorism & Violent Extremism: Content promoting, assisting, or providing instructions for terrorist activities or mass violence.
  • Deepfake & Non-Consensual Imagery: Creating fake images, videos, or audio depicting real individuals without their consent.

1. Illegal & Harmful Content

Generate or distribute illegal content, including copyrighted material without proper authorization, fraud, harassment, or defamation.

2. Sexual & Adult Content

Generate sexually explicit, obscene, or pornographic content. This includes any content depicting nudity, sexual acts, or adult themes.

3. Violence & Gore

Generate content depicting graphic violence, gore, assault, or any form of cruel or violent acts.

4. Hate Speech & Discrimination

Generate content promoting hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or other protected characteristics.

5. Copyright & Trademark Infringement

Upload or process copyrighted content (YouTube videos, PDFs, books) without proper rights or authorization. Generate content that infringes on intellectual property rights of third parties.

6. Misinformation & Impersonation

Generate false information presented as fact, or impersonate real persons, organizations, or institutions without authorization.

3. AI Content Moderation

MathSolve employs a multi-layer content moderation system:

  • Input Filtering: All prompts and uploaded content are scanned for prohibited content before processing.
  • Output Filtering: AI-generated content is reviewed before being presented to users.
  • User Reports: Flagged content is reviewed by our trust and safety team.
  • Moderation Logging: All moderation decisions and user reports are logged for audit purposes.

We use automated content analysis tools to detect violations, supplemented by human review when necessary.

4. Content Moderation Levels

5. User Responsibilities

When using MathSolve:

  • Only upload content you have the rights to use
  • Do not upload content containing personal information of others without consent
  • Do not upload photos of minors (under 18) to the platform
  • Ensure content is appropriate for educational purposes
  • Do not attempt to bypass content moderation systems
  • Be respectful in any communications through the platform

6. Enforcement & Violations

Violations of this Policy may result in:

  • Content Warning: First-time minor violations may result in a written warning
  • Content Removal: Prohibited content will be removed immediately
  • Feature Limitation: Reduced API access or feature restrictions
  • Account Suspension: Temporary suspension for repeated violations
  • Account Termination: Permanent removal for serious or repeated violations
  • Legal Action: Cooperation with law enforcement for illegal content

7. Reporting Violations

If you encounter any content that violates this Policy, please report it immediately:

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Response times: L1 violations within 2 hours, L2 within 24 hours, L3 within 3 business days, L4 within 5 business days.

All reports are kept confidential. False or malicious reports may result in account action against the reporter.

8. Appeal Process

If you believe your content was incorrectly flagged or your account was wrongly suspended, you may submit an appeal:

Appeals are reviewed by team members who were not involved in the original decision.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Major changes will be communicated at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of MathSolve after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
